Use your Codex subscription

Use your own Codex client and subscription. MIP8 does not ask for an OpenAI API key or your subscription credentials.

1. In your Codex host terminal, add this remote MCP server:

   codex mcp add mip8-hosted --url 'https://agents.shiftd.exchange/mcp'

   Copy add command

   If mip8-hosted already exists, check its URL with codex mcp list before adding anything. Keep unrelated server settings.

2. Open the browser, continue to your private workspace and choose Allow for the connection:

   codex mcp login mip8-hosted

3. Return to your Codex chat and ask it to prepare a strategy using the MIP8 tools:

   Read the MIP8 market. Create or revise a fixed MM or IOC testnet strategy within my limits. Give me its funding URL if needed; then make a fresh review and request the approval link. I will approve funding and trading separately in MIP8.

Review and approve the exact launch on this site. Connecting a client never approves a launch.

No password or invitation. Use the same browser for your approval links.

Keep this browser's workspace cookie. It expires after 90 days without a workspace resume; resuming renews it for 90 days. If the cookie is lost or expires, recovery of this existing workspace is not implemented. Wallet, social and passkey recovery are future work.

Changing a strategy creates a new immutable version and needs a fresh review and trading approval.
